It's beginning to feel very Christmasy around here lately. Ah yes. Makes it sound nice when you put it that way. What I really mean is that it's been damn cold. In fact it snowed last week. It was beautiful really. That morning, as I walked Alby, a couple flakes fell. Later, while at work, the snow fell increasingly harder. Later that afternoon, I was standing outside one of the MS buildings waiting for a shuttle. I watched the snow falling heavy but extremely slowly to the ground. It was completely silent, with not even the slightest breeze. All of the fir and cedar had snow on the tops of their boughs. It felt like time had slowed.
Toni loaded the kids in their wagon and took them out to play in it. She said they laughed the entire time. Alby also experienced his first snow. He was running around, being all frisky. Toni managed to catch a few seconds of the snow on video, just prior to running out of tape. Here it is (the first few minutes are of a family of deer - a doe and two fawn - that visit our back yard regularly to eat and rest).
