We're putting an offer on a house tomorrow. Both Toni and I knew this was the house when we saw it. It's a Craftsman style house, built aroun d 1920. It has beautiful fir floors, and all original leaded glass windows. The kitchen is quite large and is organized very well. The upstairs has an attic that has been converted to have two bedrooms and a storage area. There's a very large living room, bedroom, and study downstairs. The only thing really missing is a nice fireplace.
The property itself is about one third of an acre, located on a slope.
The house is located in Issaquah, a very quaint, centrally-organized, small town of about 15,0000. Issaquah is surrounded on three sides by greenbelts, one of which is the Issaquah Alps, which I wrote about earlier. We'd only be about five minutes walk from downtown. There are two very large libraries in the city also, and a salmon hatchery.
Toni and I really want this house, so we're a bit nervous that we either won't have the best offer, or the current contract on our house back in Tampa won't sell. But with a little luck we should hear good news within the next couple days.
